Jumpsuits

What is so special about jumpsuits? Well, they are timeless in functionality and appeal. They come sexy, glamorous, elegant, rugged and casual. They flatter almost every body type; but wait... that means the right type of jumpsuit should be worn on the right body type. I know...we may not always agree with the type of clothes some people wear for their body type. However, jumpsuits come in various figure flattering styles to compliment every body type, i.e. loose fit verses fitted, wide leg verses straight, palazzo verses skinny, halter verses tank or racer back, long sleeves verses short, cap or elbow sleeves, one-sleeves, spaghetti straps verses strapless, collar and or lapel, drape neck, v-neck, boat neck, flat front verses pleated, drawstring waist verses banded waist, elastic waist, belted verses sash, zipper, buttons, pockets etc. I can go on and on but you probably got the point when I said "various".

Summertime will be here before you know it. By the time you blink the wardrobe scene will be different. However...jumpsuits are an all-year-round apparel. Although, it had been a while since jumpsuits were at the forefront of fashion, they've made a much stronger comeback in recent years. I wrote a blog about jumpsuit back in January 2011 and why they in themselves should not be treated as a trend. Maybe a particular style but, not jumpsuits as a whole. Certain styles of pants come and go but, pants never go out of style. So, for this spring and summer, I hope to see more styles and designs for curvy women.

A simple solid color jumpsuit dressed up or down with some cute jewelry like; earrings, perhaps a statement belt, multiple stack stack bracelets or cuff; Of course, a pair of gorgeous shoes and handbag would complete a classy, stylish statement. It's going to be interesting to see what animal prints, floral, plaids, stripes and tie-dyes, etc. is on the jumpsuit scene in 2016.
